Eco Power Partners, LLC is an independent energy, products and services direct sales marketing company. We represent numerous Retail Energy Providers that offer a multitude of energy products for both commercial and residential accounts.

Our goal is to help you, the energy consumer, with multiple products, services, and information related to Electricity, Natural Gas and Energy Savings. We are devoted to help accomplish what the deregulation of electricity markets was created for - to lower the electricity bills of our customers. We also believe that competitive electricity markets create a more efficient, customer oriented marketplace that will result in innovative products and services that benefit the consumer.

About Deregulation of Energy

In the past, all of the following components of electricity supply were regulated and provided by one company, the local utility.

  • Electricity Generation
  • Electricity Delivery
  • Retail Sales
  • Meter Reading
  • Billing and Support

In a regulated electricity market, the consumer has no choice. They can only purchase from one source, the local utility. In a regulated market there is no incentive to offer cost saving solutions or innovative products and services. That's now changing because people in many states now have the right to choose who they buy their electricity supply from.

Deregulation opens the generation portion of your bill to competition and innovation. This essentially turns the generated power into a market-based commodity, with the price dictated by supply and demand. Competitive markets lead to innovation and lower costs for customers.

In a deregulated market, the local utility is reduced into an electricity delivery company. This makes it possible for customers to choose an alternate source for the generation portion of their bill which is approximately two thirds of their total cost. All customers continue to rely on their local utility to deliver their electricity, provide service and reliability, read their meter and in most cases, bill the customer. This portion of the electricity service remains the same.

Retail competition, in the electricity markets, is superior to regulated service as it delivers customer-focused service, enables innovative product development and leads to the most efficient market price.

All consumers should be afforded the opportunity to participate in competitive retail energy markets and enjoy the benefits that only competitive retail markets can deliver.

Currently there are 20 states in various states of deregulation of their energy markets. It takes time for a state to achieve true deregulation where the rates are at market rate pricing.Electrical deregulation is a growing opportunity for consumers to save as it expands across the nation.

Scott Turner - CEO
Scott was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and his family quickly moved farther south to Florida. There he enjoyed the sun, the sand, and building and operating a large manufacturing company with his brother that supplied power companies across the globe. There wasn't enough sand in Florida, so Scott traveled to Egypt where he managed to climb one of the great pyramids.

A quick Story about Scott::

" I have always been fascinated with the pyramids in Egypt. In 2000 I had on my vision board "Climb a Pyramid” Why such a lofty goal? Well I knew vision boards worked I just wanted to test the limits. I had never been to Egypt and logically I knew this would be impossible or I would end up "Locked Up Abroad”. In Feb 2001 I was invited to Egypt guest of an Egyptian Billionaire who I had not previously known. He asked me "What would you like to do while in Egypt?” I said …. You guessed it! And I did! I climbed the Pyramid of Khufu the oldest and largest of the three at Giza. It is also the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World. A picture of me is from the top of Khafra, the second largest. Thrilling! 9-11 happened seven months later. That along with the turmoil in Egypt today now makes a goal like this really impossible…. Or does it? You decide!"

Before forming Eco Power with his partner Michael Burnett he was COO and co-owner of a manufacturing company that is a tier one supplier of large complex systems for power generating plants where he managed growth of sales from $6 million to $70 million in fewer than 18 months. He streamlined operations and directed the ISO9001 and Six Sigma quality programs. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt and delivered $800,000 in documented cash savings the first year of the program.

Scott is an expert in direct marketing, sales force automation and quality systems.  He has a passion for developing efficient and effective business solutions that drive cost out while solving real life business issues.

In his role as CEO he continues to ensure that Eco Power Partners is on the cutting edge, meeting the needs of the friends and family members, our customers and our Retail Energy Providers.

Scott sees Eco Power as a spiritual movement, helping people enrich their families in a Christian environment.  "I guess i got my values from my cousin the Reverend Billy Graham and his mother who is Billy's first cousin. I watched his sermons on TV while growing up and it became part of my DNA"
